  1.           ===== BAND EXPANSION MODIFICATION FOR ICOM MICRO2 =====

  3. 1.  Remove battery.
  4. 2.  Remove 4 screws securing batter.  Slide from fron panel.
  5. 3.  Remove small black screw below PTT switch.
  6. 4.  Carefully separate the fron speaker from the body by pulling front
  7.     and rear down toward battery.  Flip it over.
  8. 5.  Next remove steel chassis assembly by gently prying up the sides,
  9.     lift up, fold it down.
  10. 6.  Solder in new diode next to Q131 and Diode D113.  Looking at Diode
  11.     Matrix with top of radio to the top,  add diode to the empty pad to
  12.     the left of diode D119.  There are 3 points of connection on the
  13.     diode pad.  Two on the left and on centered vertically on the right.
  14.     The diode should be installed between the lower left and the right
  15.     centered connection. (Arrow on diode points to right centered connection.)
  16. 7.  Reset CPU by following instruction manual page 23.
